Estonia has become the seventh foreign county in terms of the number of visits by Russian tourists.
Russian citizens made 858,000 trips to Estonia in the first half of the year.
According to the Rosstat, Russian citizens made 2.28 million trips to Turkey, 1.75 million trips to the separating Georgian region of Abkhazia and 1.56 million trips to Finland.
The top three was followed by Kazakhstan with 1.28 million trips, Ukraine with 1.07 million trips and China with 908,000 border crossings. Next was Estonia with 858,000 trips, Thailand with 679,000 trips, Germany with 591,000 border crossings and the United Arab Emirates with 545,000 trips.
