Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas and German Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection Christine Lambrecht met on Tuesday to discuss the functioning of the Estonian e-state, data protection and the development of the digital policy of the European Union.
Juri Ratas and other government spokespeople affirmed the willingness of Estonia to share experience in the security of electronic databases, legal regulation of digital services and people’s ability to check their data with Germany.
Ratas and Lambrecht also discussed the EU digital policy.
Other issues discussed by Ratas and Lambrecht included Germany’s future presidency of the Council of the EU and bilateral relations between Estonia and Germany.
