The education, science and culture committee of the Baltic Assembly had a meeting in the conference hall of the Estonian parliament on Friday.
The main topics for discussion are common research and study projects of the Baltic states, cooperation between institutions of higher education, and vocational education.
The committee is also discussing the plans of the governments to launch new intergovernmental scientific studies.
A special item on the agenda is the Baltic Cultural Fund that has been formed at the initiative and recommendation of the assembly and started its work successfully at the beginning of the year.
Baltic Assembly is a consultative cooperation body of the three Baltic parliaments.
